Leadership in an Agile environment

Please join us Thursday, June 7th at the Rodeside Grill for an Agile evening with Certified Agile Leader Jason Rieber. Most of us are familiar with the roles of Scrum Master and Product Owner, but it’s often unclear what the role of management is in an Agile environment. Whether your company calls them Project Leaders, Project Managers, Directors, or Product Managers, these leaders have a huge role in promoting a robust and healthy Agile environment.

Jason is a development team manager for Nelnet (formerly Great Lakes Educational Loan Services) in Madison where he manages developers who work on Agile teams as well as department strategy.  Jason recently completed his Scrum Alliance Certified Agile Leadership credential and will discuss the role of leadership/management in Agile development environments.

Following Jason’s talk, we will have a discussion of the role of Agile leaders in different environments.
